But we couldn't have done this without the tremendous support of our corporate partners. In celebration of their generosity and in acknowledgment of the incredible determination of our youth who have gone on to post-secondary education, we are hosting our 11th annual Recognition Night.
The youth we are honouring are in care or former care of the Children's Aid Society. We are both proud and humbled by their determination and dedication. The Children's Aid Foundation would like to invite the media to join us as we celebrate these incredible youth and the corporations who have helped them reach their goals.

Where: Hilton Toronto, 145 Richmond Street West, Toronto, ON M5H 2L2 When: Tuesday, September 29, 2009 5:30 - 6:30 Interview opportunities with Peter Lee, chairman, Children's Aid Foundation's Board of Directors; Ann Barnard Ball, executive director, Children's Aid Foundation; RONA president and chief executive officer, Robert Dutton will be available upon request. 7:00 Award ceremony and scholarship presentations begin. Why: To award scholarships to our dedicated and determined youth from the Children's Aid Society and also to recognize the amazing contributions of our corporate partners in supporting our children and youth.
The Children's Aid Foundation believes that all children and youth deserve the opportunity to reach their full potential: in keeping with these goals the Foundation has become a leader in providing the tools and support to help children in need enjoy their childhood and become the people they were meant to be.
Founded in 1979, the Children's Aid Foundation is a national charity that funds programs in areas of prevention, enrichment and education. This year marks the Foundation's 30th anniversary of helping to make a difference in the lives of children and youth.
