Media Advisory - Canadian Olympic Committee holds Annual Golf Tournament
Fundraiser

WHISTLER, BC, Sept. 23 /CNW/ - The Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) will host its 2009 Whistler Golf Tournament presented by Bell at the prestigious Whistler Golf Club and the Westin Resort & Spa on September 25 .

The tournament is the COC's signature fundraising event, with proceeds benefitting the Own The Podium initiative, and includes appearances and participation by Canadian Olympians. They will be joined by leaders of the business community, key Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) stakeholders (including worldwide and national sponsors, partners and suppliers) and sport partners.

Canadian Olympic hopefuls will also conduct live demonstrations of their sport throughout the course.
