HALIFAX, N.S., May 23, 2013 /CNW/ - Media representatives are advised that Chris Fogarty from the Canadian Hurricane Centre will be available for a technical briefing to discuss the upcoming 2013 hurricane season and the steps Canadians can take to be prepared.

Media will have the opportunity to ask their questions during the technical briefing at Environment Canada's offices in Dartmouth.
Media located outside of the Halifax Regional Municipality area may participate in the briefing via a moderated teleconference by calling 1-613-960-7520 or 1-877-413-4803 and by asking to join the Canadian Hurricane Centre media briefing. Media are asked to call 15 minutes prior to the start of the session to register. Late registrants may not be able to join the conference.
