Media advisory - Canada Steamship Lines Unveils Today New Cargo Ship at the Port of Montreal

MONTRÉAL, April 1, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Mr. Allister Paterson, President of Montreal-based Canada Steamship Lines joined by Mrs. Sylvie Vachon, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Montreal Port Authority, will unveil the company's newly-built M/V CSL St-Laurent, to the media on the eve of her first journey into the Great Lakes for the new shipping season. The Trillium Class vessel is named after the St. Lawrence River. She is an environmentally-advanced Canadian Great Lakes bulk carrier ideally suited for carrying grain and agri products, and will frequently be discharging at St. Lawrence River ports.

The media is invited to tour the vessel on April 1, 2015, from 12:45 to 14:00. Mr. Paterson and Mrs. Vachon will be available for interviews.

WHAT:	Media tour of Canada Steamship Lines' new Great Lakes vessel, M/V CSL St- Laurent, on the eve of its first journey of the new shipping season.  Tour will include visit of the bridge, deck, engine room, galley and crew accommodations.

WHERE:	Section 27, Port of Montreal Directions: Take the entrance into the Port of Montreal on Pie-IX Boulevard at the corner of Notre-Dame Street East. Turn right at the Port road and continue until you are near Jacques-Cartier Bridge. The vessel is moored at section 27 in the Port of Montreal.
WHEN:	APRIL 1, 2015 12:45 PM — Media arrival and safety briefing 13:00 PM — Media tour of the vessel and photos/interviews 14:00 PM — End of tour
