Media Advisory - Atlantic Mayors' Congress to meet in Halifax January 29

HALIFAX, Jan. 28 /CNW Telbec/ - As the federal government readies its March budget, Mayors from Atlantic Canada's largest municipalities will meet in Halifax, January 29 to discuss their priorities for the budget.

The mayors, members of the Atlantic Mayors' Congress, will be joined by PEI's Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal Ron MacKinley, as they discuss pressing issues facing their communities, including the need for continued federal infrastructure funding.

A statement will be released at 3:00 p.m. (all times ADT). Individual mayors may be available for one-on-one interviews with reporters.
