On December 1, 2011, National Chief Atleo and Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced the first-ever Crown-First Nations Gathering to take place January 24, 2012.
More than 400 First Nation Chiefs came to Ottawa this week to participate in the Crown-First Nations Gathering, and many others participated via regional videoconferencing locations around the country.
At the press conference, the National Chief will speak to his response to the outcomes of the Gathering as well as next steps and expectations for the future.
