NEW YORK, Sept. 19, 2012 /CNW/ - MDC Partners Inc. announced today that it has hired Dene Callas to take on the role of Maxxcom Global Media's Managing Director. Callas, who will report to Maxxcom Global Media group CEO Steve Farella, will be responsible for building the group's offering, resources and scale to drive growth for all of MDC Partners' media agencies.

Callas joins Maxxcom Global Media from Media Storm, where she was Managing Director of Operations & Development. Prior to joining Media Storm, Callas held leadership positions at Group M and MediaCom, where as CEO, she was instrumental in building the company from its inception through 2007.
