MDC Partners Expands Talent, Leadership Development and Training Resources

Barbara Creagh, Former Deloitte North American Talent Leader, Appointed Executive Vice President

NEW YORK, July 7 /CNW/ - MDC announced today that they have expanded their talent leadership development and training resource base which will be led by Former Deloitte North American Talent Leader and industry thought leader, Barbara Creagh. The primary areas that the Central Talent Team will focus on are acquisition and distribution of talent, talent management, the identification and development of emerging leaders within the MDC portfolio, and coaching and training programs for all individuals within the MDC network to optimize their potential and maximize their career success.

The Team's mission is to work with each agency to develop their specific talent strategy, and systematically close the gap between their current talent and leadership competencies, and what they will need to respond to the client and agency opportunities of tomorrow. Barbara is joined by SVP, Director of Talent Development, Amie Miller, who spent the past 17 years in increasingly senior roles at MDC Partners' agency Crispin Porter + Bogusky. In her most recent position at the agency, she headed up the staffing department and managed operations across key CP+B departments. Joanne Coffman, Director, HR and Benefits and CP+B veterans, Meghan Schlicher and Clay Lovell round out this strategic resource group.

Together the team has deep industry and content experience in developing and implementing practical talent strategies that are steady, measured, cascading and reinforcing. They will partner with talent resources and human resources groups within each MDC agency to identify and hire talent, invest in the development of the talent with leading-edge learning programs that are relevant to their day-to-day jobs, and help to provide opportunities for personal and career growth. Barbara Creagh, EVP, Talent Leadership Development and Training has spent over 20 years working in consulting firms helping companies shape their organizations to inspire people to higher performance, building pipelines of future leaders, and helping executives better understand their organization to unlock hidden value. At Deloitte she was North American Executive Talent Leader. During her tenure at Deloitte, she was instrumental in the hiring of over 500 Partners in a two-year period, and implemented a company wide candidate experience program, a succession-planning program and a talent-mapping program.
