MDA to provide information solution to support flight operations at airports
RICHMOND, BC, June 30, 2015 /CNW/ - MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. ("MDA" or the "Company") (TSX:MDA), a global communications and information company, today announced that it has signed a multi-year contract valued at approximately CA$11 million with an undisclosed company. MDA will provide licenses and services to access MDA's software solution that supports flight operations at airports and the airspace immediately around them.
This contract underscores MDA's 30 year history of delivering advanced aviation solutions to civil authorities and defence customers, leveraging its proven expertise of complex system integration and space-based information solutions. MDA's aviation capabilities are based on our ability to work with customers to develop very large, real time safety-critical systems and provide lifetime modernization and support services to customers around the world.
