Marlin Spring Introduces a Fully Accessible Unit Program

New program lets qualified individuals select the community, unit type and finishes they want -- and gives Marlin Spring's disabled or aging homebuyers a dignified way to plan for future lifestyle needs

TORONTO, Sept. 23, 2026 /CNW/ -- Marlin Spring is pleased to announce a new program offering fully accessible units at no additional cost for qualified individuals at pre-construction high-rise developments in their portfolio. In consultation with HandiHelp Accessible Innovations, a Canadian accessibility consulting firm, the program is designed to give people with disabilities the same freedom of choice available to any other homebuyer. This program provides the opportunity for buyers to choose the neighbourhood they want to live in, the type of unit that suits their needs, and the floor, view and finishes that fit their lifestyle -- with accessibility built into the home from the start, rather than added on afterward.

"We wanted to open up a new, thoughtful way to provide housing options for persons with disabilities," said Erin Millar, CSMO of Marlin Spring. "Too often, accessible housing means limited choice -- a small, fixed pool of units in a handful of locations. Our goal is the opposite: to let qualified individuals choose their community and their home the way anyone else would, and to benefit from the accessibility features they need in that home from day one."

Under the program, qualified individuals will be able to work directly with Marlin Spring to select a unit within participating developments, with accessibility features integrated into the unit's layout, rather than offered as a separate or retrofitted product.
