TORONTO, June 22, 2012 /CNW/ - Manulife Financial will open the market at Toronto Stock Exchange this morning to celebrate 125 years as a strong, reliable, trustworthy and forward-thinking Canada-based global company.
Manulife Financial President and Chief Executive Officer Donald Guloien will be joined by Chair, Dr. Gail Cook-Bennett, company executives and honourees of the company's STARs of Excellence program to initiate the siren at Toronto Stock Exchange. The event concludes a week-long series of market opening ceremonies worldwide attended by Manulife executives and other dignitaries.

Earlier this week on June 19, Mr. Guloien rang The Opening BellSM at the New York Stock Exchange. Executives from Manulife's offices in Asia and local dignitaries also attended market opening ceremonies on June 21 at the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, and today at the Philippine Stock Exchange.
