TORONTO, May 22, 2013 /CNW/ - Mantis Mineral Corp. ("Mantis" - CNSX: MYN) announces that it has entered into an agreement to sell a land package (Mantis' Cree Lake Project) comprising 18 claims situated in the Swayze Township, Ontario.
Terms of the Transaction
Under the terms of the Purchase Agreement, Mantis will sell the claims outright, subject to an underlying royalty agreement for Six Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($650,000) to be satisfied by Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000) in cash and One Million Five Hundred Thousand (1,500,000) common shares of Joshua Gold Resources Inc.. The transaction is to be completed on August 3, 2013.
Mantis Mineral is pleased to announce today the appointment of Ms. Vicki Rosenthal, currently Chief Financial Officer of Mantis, to the Board of Directors. Ms. Rosenthal has more than 30 years experience as a qualified accountant in both England and Canada. She has worked with medium sized owner-managed entrepreneurial business providing a full range of accounting, tax, estate and financial planning advice through her own accounting practice. In addition, she has also provided consulting services to a number of large Canadian, publicly traded enterprises including those in the resource sector. Ms. Rosenthal has also been the chief financial officer of a number of corporations in a variety of industries including advertising, manufacturing, not-for-profit and service.
The Board of Directors is also announcing the resignation of Mr. Peter Howe. The Board is grateful to Mr. Howe for his contribution.
