Manitoba's paralympic athlete Chantal Givens (Denholm) is on her path to Rio 2016.

WINNIPEG, Feb. 5, 2015 /CNW/ - Today, the Canadian Sport Centre Manitoba proudly announced Qualico as the major sponsor in support of Chantal Givens' (Denholm) pathway to the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio, Brazil.

Qualico's contribution of up to $15,000 in support of Chantal Givens was announced during a Launch Event held at Qualico's Atrium in their Winnipeg Head Office. Chantal will receive a cash donation of $10,000 and support to create a website that will assist her to raise funds from public donations. In addition, Qualico announced a matching gift program and invited Chantal's supporters to donate towards her pursuit to the podium in Rio. Qualico will match their donations up to $5,000.  Not only is Chantal a three-time Canadian Paratriathlon Champion, a member of the 2014-15 Canadian Elite Paratriathlon Team and a medal threat at the Rio Paralympic Games, now she's also part of the Qualico family.
