First joint seminar features STLHE president discussing student engagement strategies </pre> <p>HAMILTON, Ontario, <chron>Jan. 19</chron> /CNW/ -- The Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE) and Magna Publications today announced a collaborative agreement in which the two higher education organizations will jointly develop online seminars for college faculty.</p> <p/> <p>The first joint seminar Engaging Students: Practical Strategies for Success will be broadcast live on <chron>February 11</chron> at <chron>12:00 CST</chron>. It will feature <person>Dr. Joy Mighty</person>, president of the STLHE and director of the Centre for Teaching and Learning at Queen's University in Ontario, <location>Canada</location>.
