MadeWithLove™ National Mixology Competition is Coming To Winnipeg!

The popular mixology competition makes its way to Winnipeg for the MadeWithLove™qualifiers

WINNIPEG, May 15, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - In preparation for the first MadeWithLove™ National Mixology Competition, MadeWithLove™ will be holding a "Black Box Cocktail" Qualifier event at Boa Lounge on Monday, May 20th, 2013 at 6pm. For the occasion, competing bartenders will be given a black box containing secret ingredients, along with a selection of one our sponsored spirits to concoct the most unique and balanced cocktail they can. Of the competitors, 12 mixologists will move on to compete in Winnipeg's main event in August 2013, where 2 winners will be invited to represent the city at the national competition that will be held in June 2014 in Montreal, QC.

Bartenders from across the city are invited to rise up to the challenge and showcase their creative and technical skills by concocting a delicious cocktail from the ingredients found within their respective black box. On the day of the event, competitors will have 10 minutes to create one cocktail creation (one unit) for the judges. In turn, judges will sample the libations, and score the cocktails based on originality, presentation, and taste.

For the qualifier, a maximum of 25 candidates will be invited to participate, of which 12 mixologists will be selected to participate in the August 2013 main event.
