CALGARY, June 22, 2016 /CNW/ - Put on your best frock or bow tie and party like it's 1891! Lougheed House is celebrating the 125th anniversary of its construction with a free public event on July 23rd, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. A vibrant showcase of local arts and culture, the day includes comedians, historical talks, a performance by World Champion Fancy Dancer Craig First Rider, as well as musical performances by the Calgary Wind Symphony, the Calgary Opera, Lynn Olagundoye and Lucky Sonne. The event reflects the diversity and cultural vitality of the Beltline community where Lougheed House now stands.
