CALGARY, Alberta, Dec. 2, 2013 /CNW/ - LoneStar Geophysical Canada proudly announced today its newest member to its seismic data acquisition team, Mr. Edward "Ed" Loven, as the Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Edward Loven brings 30 years of experience, along with numerous constructed relationships within the oil and gas industry with a specific focus on seismic database assets related to exploration and commercial initiatives in and around Canada's oil and gas markets. Ed comes with extensive knowledge and industry experience regarding structuring, negotiating and completion of large seismic transactions and oil and gas exploration related services.

Ed has worked on a large number of exploration opportunities involving major oil and gas entities during his partnership in Sand Exploration Ltd. He successfully negotiated with Norcen, Anadarko, British Petroleum and many intermediate and junior partners.
