TORONTO, Jan. 16, 2012 /CNW/ - High gloss, high glamour and high heels ruled last night's GOLDEN GLOBE^® red carpet coverage on E!, with 234,000 viewers watching E!'s flagship red carpet show LIVE FROM THE RED CARPET. Over 800,000 unique viewers watched some or all of E!'s carpet-to-after party, four-hour, GOLDEN GLOBES coverage. Year-over-year, audiences for E!'s LIVE FROM THE RED CARPET: THE 2012 GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS were up 30% among A18-49, and 25% among A25-54, making E! the most-watched non-sports specialty channel in Canada in those demos. Similarly, E!'s late-night schmooze-fest, E! AFTER PARTY: THE 2012 GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS was up 59% among total viewers, 35% among A18-49, and 42% among A25-54 over last year.

E!'s GOLDEN GLOBE coverage continues tonight with the always-hilarious and biting commentary of fashion-diva Joan Rivers with FASHION POLICE at 9 p.m. ET (visit eonline.ca to confirm local broadcast times).
