- Lingaro has acquired enterprise e-commerce services provider ORBA to help today's most successful businesses achieve and maintain market leadership into the go-to-consumer future
- Both companies' customers will now benefit from access to a broad portfolio of cutting-edge analytics, robotic process automation, and e-commerce technology services backed by 24/7 DevOps
- Lingaro and ORBA will continue to operate under separate brands
CINCINNATI, Sept. 20, 2018 /CNW/ - Digital transformation solutions company Lingaro has acquired a majority stake in ORBA, an enterprise e-commerce company specializing in the design and implementation of systems based on the Magento™ platform. The investment expands Lingaro's digital transformation capabilities with respect to direct-to-consumer sales channels, towards which many global manufacturers and retailers are making a strategic shift.
"As a digital transformation partner, we help enterprises harness technology to achieve and maintain leadership wherever they compete. We work closely with some of the biggest manufacturers and retailers in the world, and we know they are getting serious about the direct-to-consumer space. Whenever and however they move into DTC, we want to be ready with the right competencies to put them ahead of the competition - and keep them there. ORBA's capabilities are therefore a strategic fit for the direction we are taking with our clients right now, " said Małgorzata Gryz, Chief Operations Officer at Lingaro.
Lingaro customers can now rely on ORBA's Microsoft™ and Magento™-accredited solutions to create and manage online storefronts, manage online and offline consumer interactions, use data to improve customer experiences, measure market share growth, and discover consumer segments. These direct-to-consumer technology capabilities expand Lingaro's broad existing portfolio of cutting-edge analytics, Internet of Things, and Robotic Process Automation services - all backed by 24x7 support from DevOps teams who can see the big business picture.
The acquisition grows Lingaro's presence in North America, where the company is directing significant business growth efforts. Additionally, Lingaro will incorporate ORBA's offerings into its go-to-market strategy in Europe, where both companies have a strong client base, and in Asia. ORBA will continue to operate under its own brand to leverage its established world-class reputation. Roman Baluta will stay on as ORBA CEO and join the Lingaro leadership team to head up e-commerce business development.
