- Lightspeed continues its commitment to company-wide DEI initiatives. This year, Lightspeed's employee base includes 41% who identify as women, 37% BIPOC representation, 11% persons with disabilities, and 9% who identify as LGBTQ2S+1. In addition, 56% of Lightspeed's executive officers identify as women2, and 86% of the members of its Board of Directors identify as either women or visible minorities as of March 31, 2026.
- According to Lightspeed's annual diversity, equity and inclusion and engagement survey, 88% of its employees feel that they can be their authentic self at work and 90% feel their manager genuinely cares about their well-being1.
- Lightspeed continues to advance its environmental efforts through internal and customer-facing initiatives. The Company introduced composting at its headquarters and, through its partnership with GiftTrees, offers the Carbon Friendly Dining program, enabling diners to offset the carbon emissions associated with their meals by planting trees. As of June 30, 2026, more than 2.5 million trees have been planted.
- Through partnerships, sponsorships, charitable contributions and employee volunteerism, Lightspeed supported organizations making a difference in their communities, including Technovation Montréal, the TupuToa Foundation, Take2 in Auckland, Streets Kitchen in London, AspenOUT and the Young Enterprise Scheme in New Zealand.
- With approximately $360 million advanced across 10 countries in Fiscal 2026, Lightspeed Capital continues to open up more ways for independent merchants to access fast, flexible business funding.
- During Fiscal 2026, Lightspeed continued to integrate AI into its products and operations to help merchants save time and simplify their work. Alongside this expansion, the Company's approach to responsible AI and data governance is guided by principles of privacy, security, fairness and accountability, supported by oversight from its active cross-functional AI committee, executive leadership and Board of Directors.
