Lexus of Calgary helps create a world without cystic fibrosis

CALGARY, June 22, 2017 /CNW/ - On Monday June 26 144 women will take to the fairways at the prestigious Earl Grey Golf Course in the Lexus of Canada 65 Roses Ladies Golf Classic. This is the longest running women only tournament in Calgary and has raised over one million dollars for cystic fibrosis research.

Canada leads the way in research and care for those living with cystic fibrosis and that is largely due to fundraising events like the 65 Roses Ladies Golf Classic. In 2016 Cystic Fibrosis Canada invested $5.3 million in cystic fibrosis (CF) research, including grants, to improve the health and quality of life of Canadians living with CF.

Cystic Fibrosis is the most common genetic disease affecting Canadian children and young adults; there is no cure. Click here for more information on the battle against CF - http://www.cysticfibrosis.ca/uploads/annual%20reports/2015annual-report-english-for-web.pdf
