TORONTO, May 28, 2014 /CNW/ - In 12 days on Sunday, June 8, 2014, Toronto Taste unites Toronto's top chefs and beverage purveyors for an evening of delicious fare and refreshing drinks to support Second Harvest's food rescue program. Presented by The Daniels Corporation, Toronto Taste will celebrate its 24th year as one of Toronto's premier culinary events. For Toronto foodies and culinary fans, limited tickets are available but are selling fast.

"Toronto Taste was one of the first major food events in Toronto and continues to deliver an amazing experience," says Debra Lawson, Executive Director of Second Harvest. "It is unique because guests have the ability to give back to Second Harvest, while indulging in delicious dishes prepared by top chefs such as Mark McEwan, Bob Blumer and Roger Mooking right in front of them, all in one space."

Guests can expect gourmet dishes created by 70 top chefs and beverage purveyors. Guests are also invited to participate in Toronto Taste's exclusive Fine Wine Auction – a global selection of wines sourced from private collections, and the Live Auction – various big-ticket prizes, such as culinary-themed trips.
