Les Rechan Appointed Halogen Software President and CEO
Software veteran to lead talent management market leader through next phase of growth
OTTAWA, Nov. 5, 2015 /CNW/ - Halogen Software (TSX: HGN) today announced the company has appointed Leslie (Les) Rechan as President and CEO, effective immediately. Mr. Rechan joined the Halogen Board of Directors in May 2015, and has served as interim CEO of the talent management leader since early July 2015. Mr. Rechan brings over 30 years of global business experience and customer success with some of the software industry's leading players including IBM, Cognos, Oracle and Siebel Systems.
Mr. Rechan commented on his appointment:

Les Rechan is the former General Manager of the IBM Business Analytics Division within the IBM Software Group. He retired from IBM in 2014 after 30 years in the enterprise technology solutions industry. Previously, Mr. Rechan was the Chief Operating Officer of Cognos and held a variety of global executive roles with Oracle, Siebel Systems, Cadence Designs Systems, Onyx Software and IBM. He also serves on the board of PROS Holdings Inc. (NYSE: PRO) as well as Cognitive Scale, the Cognitive Cloud Company. Mr. Rechan holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Behavior and Management from Brown University and a Masters in Management from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
