Leadbetter Foods Inc. investigates potential contamination
ORILLIA, ON, Sept. 9 /CNW/ - Leadbetter Foods Inc. is informing the public that they have voluntarily recalled their Leadbetters Cowboy Beef Burgers (bearing the lot code 20169, indicated on the back of box) produced on July 16, 2010 and distributed in Ontario, in order to investigate the possibility of an E. coli 0157:H7 contamination. Although tests have thus far presented negative results for the contaminate, Leadbetter Foods Inc. wants to assure the consuming public that they are actively responding to the situation.
