Latest version of Collect! now supports MS-SQL

VICTORIA, BC, Jan. 19, 2016 /CNW/ - Comtech, a worldwide leader of collection software based in Victoria, BC releases Collect! Version 12.1 which includes new MS-SQL database support for unlimited account sizes and the flexibility to use standard MS-SQL tools for reporting and analysis. Additionally, Comtech improves the user interface to include customizable dashboards and new management and audit screens desired by most high volume users. Collect! software is supported in both Cloud and Premise deployments.

The new version was available for Cloud users in 2015, and is now available for Premise users. Screen shots will be available in the Comtech Systems booth at the DBA Conference in Las Vegas, February 9 to 11, 2016.

Collection systems often use proprietary databases and require customers to build custom reporting or use expensive services for upkeep and maintenance of the database. By using the industry standard, MS-SQL, Comtech allows clients to use tools available from Microsoft to analyze and sort on the data. MS-SQL supports databases of large sizes or the possibility of splitting large databases into smaller units.
