Last Chance to Submit Contributions to the XX World Congress on Safety and Health at Work 2014

BERLIN, Nov. 14, 2013 /CNW/ - The registration period for contributions to the XX World Congress on Safety and Health at Work 2014 ends on the 30th of November 2013.

Participants who wish to make a contribution to a symposium are invited to submit an English-language summary thereof online at http://www.safety2014germany.com/papers.

Items for presentation at the Forum for Prevention can be submitted at http://www.safety2014germany.com/presentations.

The "XX World Congress on Safety and Health at Work 2014: Forum for Prevention" will be jointly hosted by the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV), the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the International Social Security Association (ISSA) in Frankfurt from the 24th to the 27th of August 2014.

Over 4,000 people from around the world are expected at the event - from safety experts, political and administrative decision-makers and specialists from throughout the field of occupational safety and health (OSH) to businesses, employees and the organizations that represent them. The World Congress 2014 will not only provide opportunities to exchange the latest in knowledge and experience, but also represent a platform for networking, promote active participation and offer insights into examples of best practice.

Three main themes will provide a framework for the content of the Congress:
