La Capitale offers complimentary COVID-19 hospitalization coverage to insureds with Critical Illness insurance and their families Français
QUEBEC CITY, May 8, 2020 /CNW Telbec/ - La Capitale Insurance and Financial Services is taking concrete measures on behalf of its insureds and their loved ones by offering them free coverage that will help reduce financial anxiety related to a hospitalization for COVID-19.
This free coverage is for clients with Critical Illness insurance acquired individually, not through group insurance offered by an employer. The benefit consists of a lump-sum amount of $2,000 and covers the insured, the spouse and children under age 18 who live at the same address as the insured.

Coverage for COVID-19 hospitalization is a natural complement to Critical Illness insurance, when the consequences for a family are considered. This type of insurance was designed to deal with the financial impact of being diagnosed with a serious illness.
This benefit is being automatically added to individual Critical Illness insurance contracts that are in effect and will be available until July 31, 2020.
