European Expansion Driven by Client Demand
NEW YORK, and LONDON, Dec. 6 /CNW/ - Kwittken & Company (KCO), a kbs+p partner company, today announced that it has opened its first office outside of the United States, in London, to serve as the agency's European headquarters.
Caleb Hulme-Moir, the former head of corporate communications for Cass Business School, London, has been named managing director. While at Cass, Hulme-Moir put in place a communications strategy which enabled the school to go from virtually no media profile in 2004 to being the second most quoted business school in the United Kingdom today.
The creation of a European base of operations was necessary to meet the increasing demand of many of the agency's current clients to broaden its thought leadership and reputation management programming beyond the United States to include Europe and Asia. With the opening of the European office, the UK-based team members will be fully integrated into a number of Kwittken's account teams, most specifically in the areas of financial services and healthcare.
"Expanding into Europe has been a goal of ours for several years now, but we wanted to wait until the most opportune conditions presented themselves," said Aaron Kwittken, founder and CEO of Kwittken & Company. "We are not only fortunate enough to have several global clients looking to execute consistent programming in the United States, Europe and beyond, but we now also have great partners in kbs+p and MDC Partners who are supporting our global expansion."
In addition to supporting the European communications needs of Kwittken's current client base, Hulme-Moir will also be charged with growing the office's presence within the UK and European markets.
KCO's London offices are located in the Pimlico/Belgravia area of London at 22 Ebury Street. With the addition of the addition of the new office, Kwittken & Company now maintains offices in New York City, Phoenix, Ariz., and London, England.
