Knocking it out of the park in 2016… Ramp Communications expands their team and client roster
Not-for-profit specialists, the east-end Toronto agency leads the way with a strategic approach to public awareness and education initiatives
TORONTO, Sept. 27, 2016 /CNW/ - Ramp Communications is thrilled to highlight an expanding team of the country's best, when it comes to an integrated marketing, advertising and public relations approach. Since 2011, the agency's philosophy has centred around strategic thinking to drive client messages and over the past five years, the company continues to celebrate impactful campaigns, a growing team of specialists, and new client relationships.
"When I started Ramp, I focused on projects that had the potential to positively impact the lives of Canadians in various communities, as opposed to simply a profit-centred approach to business management," says Shelley Mayer, President and owner of Ramp Communications. "I'm so proud of the work that we've done and want to build on this success, creating a vibrant social profit sector that is capable of addressing our generation's most urgent challenges – it has been five years of dedication, hard work and we are now poised for even bigger challenges in the years to come."
2016 has been a big year for Ramp with new clients including ALS Canada, Daily Bread Food Bank, Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention, Holy Trinity School, Region of Peel, Catholic Diocese of Hamilton, Ontario Mental Health Foundation, Ontario Society of Professional Engineers, Toronto Atmospheric Fund, Community Living Ontario, Tides Canada, West Park Healthcare Centre and Big Brothers Big Sisters Canada. In addition to new business wins, the agency is growing, adding new talent and moving into a new office space in Toronto's Canary District.
"We're constantly evaluating the unique challenges that our new and existing clients face, and identifying the social changes they are looking to make," says David Brouitt, Ramp's Creative Director. "As an agency dedicated to the not-for-profit sector, it's gratifying to see that the work makes a meaningful difference. And when you factor in our steady growth, it's good to see we're on the right track."
These new clients round out Ramp's impressive portfolio of current and past socially conscious clients in the not-for-profit sector, including the Canadian Mental Health Association, SolarShare, TREC Renewable Energy Cooperative, SickKids Foundation, Oak Ridges Moraine Foundation, Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario and World Vision Canada.
