This April, for two nights only, four lucky competition winners will enjoy the ultimate Dutch day in Ketel One style. Flown to Amsterdam for this unique experience, they will be personally welcomed into the iconic Ketel One Distillery by the family behind our obsessive dedication to perfection. Here the guests will be led in a behind-the-scenes tour of the distillery, learn all about what makes Ketel One Vodka so special, and have a go at a cocktail making in our very own windmill.
Next they'll be transported to the Ketel One House - that's 'Huis' to the Dutch - an offshore platform (now REM Eiland Restaurant) which has been fully kitted out with lots of quirk and charm. There are no standard rooms here - guests will sleep 22 metres up, with floor to ceiling windows enhancing the breath-taking 360° views over Amsterdam. From the perfectly perpendicular pillow chocolates, to the ever-so-square ice cubes selected for our signature Dutch Mules, no detail has been overlooked in this unique experience.
With a personal drinks butler catering to every taste, guests will be able to enjoy spectacular Dutch dining and delicious Ketel One cocktails' with the best views in town - all rounded off with celebrating King's Day like royalty on a dedicated canal boat - does this sound like the ultimate trip yet?
Bob Nolet, 11th generation distiller of the Nolet Distillery, whose father Carolus Nolet Sr., created Ketel One Vodka, said: "We are extremely excited to share our Ketel One 'King's Day' experience with these winners, welcoming them not just into our pop up Huis and our distillery but into our family too. We want to make the winners feel relaxed and 'at home', joining us to celebrate the excitement and fun of King's Day - while also surprising them with little, unexpected details of perfection."
"We have a unique way of doing things - it's important to us that we do things right and in our own particular way: calling it the 'extra mile' is an understatement, so we call it 'The Ketel One Way.' We're obsessive perfectionists and we're proud of it."
"It's this passion and dedication that has driven us for 325 years. Today, it ensures we create what we believe to be the world's finest quality vodka (the bartender's favourite1 ) and it extends right down to the Ketel One chocolate you'll find on your pillow and the tomato carefully selected for a Bloody Mary."
Entering couldn't be easier, simply follow @KetelOne on Instagram and tell us why you and three friends deserve to stay at the Ketel One Huis. The competition is now open and closes 16th April 2017, with winners being announced two days later.
With Ketel One arranging this trip of a lifetime (from 26th - 28th April), winners are guaranteed an experience like no other. Everything will run the Ketel One Way - unapologetically Dutch, full of charm and built around quality and heritage. See you there!
