Kids Help Phone honours outstanding Canadians with Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medals

TORONTO, June 4, 2013 /CNW/ - Kids Help Phone's volunteers, external influencers and employees are some of the country's best, and every single one merit gratitude and acknowledgement for their outstanding qualities and enduring commitment. At the June 3rd Kids Help Phone Annual General Meeting, Deb Craven - Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Purolator, and Kids Help Phone Board Chair -  honoured 29 individuals with the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for their remarkable commitment to the young people in Canada:

In celebration of the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's accession to the Throne as Queen of Canada, His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, invited Kids Help Phone to be part of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal program. The goal of this program is to recognize outstanding individuals of all ages and all walks of life who are making significant contributions to their communities across Canada.
