Kickstarter Success for a Quebec Watch Company - Konifer raises $25,000 in just 24 hours and unveils its new women's watch collection

SAINT-TITE, QC, Nov. 13, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - On October 23, Konifer, a Quebec-based wooden watch company, reached its $15,000 target in just one hour on Kickstarter crowd-funding platform. This success will allow Konifer to launch its Klassic collection. For the company, it is a spectacular and inspiring success that should serve as a model for other Quebec entrepreneurs. Max Clément, Konifer's founding president, launched this campaign not only to create a new collection of high-end automatic wooden watches, but also to break into the international market. Moreover, the campaign's contributors are from many different countries such as: The United States, Austria, Australia, Germany and others.

NEW MODELS FOR WOMEN
Up to now, Konifer has created watches mostly for men, but with its three Klassic models it aims to attract a greater number of women. It is a way for the company to step out of its comfort zone and broaden its horizons.

PROJECT SCOPE: A WATCH INSPIRED BY NATURE AND MOVEMENT
The new Klassic collection, entirely designed in Quebec, features high quality watches with automatic movements. All watches are made of stainless steel and wood and require no batteries. The name of the collection, Klassic, draws inspiration from the fact that automatic mechanisms are quintessential to the classic watches that were created in the 18th century.
