Kevin Monk joins AgJunction as Vice President of Global Marketing
HIAWATHA, KS, Feb. 9, 2016 /CNW/ - (TSX: AJX) — AgJunction Inc. today announced that Kevin Monk has joined the Company as Vice President of Global Marketing. Mr. Monk brings to AgJunction nearly two decades of precision agriculture industry experience having held positions with Deere & Co. in field, factory, and global advanced marketing as well as with CNH Industrial N.V. as the Director of Marketing, Precision Ag and Construction. Most recently he served as a senior consultant with The Context Network, focusing on business opportunity assessments for agriculture equipment and technology companies. In addition, Kevin is still actively involved in his family's grain production farm in Central Illinois.
In his role Mr. Monk will have global responsibility for leading all marketing initiatives and developing go-to-market strategies for new innovation opportunities within the precision agriculture equipment industry. Mr. Monk holds an MBA from the University of Iowa, as well as an M.S. in Agriculture Economics and a B.S. in Agriculture Mechanization from University of Illinois. He has also studied internationally in Russia, China, and Africa.
