From October 30th to November 2nd, 2017, Keolis invites media representatives to meet at the ITS World Congress 2017 in Montreal, which brings together the global leaders in intelligent transportation. Keolis will be showcasing four innovations at the booth #301 as well as its new brand identity.

To address the mobility needs of the future, accompany the Public Transport Authorities (PTAs) in this transformation and enhance passenger experience, Keolis is constantly innovating to offer a mobility solution that is more Connected, Autonomous, Shared and Electric.
1° Plan-Book-Ticket, the all-in-one digital app that simplifies mobility
Keolis has launched in summer 2017 its "Plan Book Ticket" solution, a "3-in-1" digital app enabling passengers to plan, book, buy and validate their journeys using their smartphones. It is designed to offer a more fluid, flexible and personalised mobility as well as a significant reduction in operational costs. This solution is being used in French cities and similar digital apps have been developed by Keolis for Boston (US), Montreal (Canada), and the Netherlands.
Sofia Ecamilla, Keolis Innovation and Digital Director, Simon Hupont, Product Manager at Kisio Digital and Frédéric Bourgeois, VP Business Transformation & Smart City, will be presenting the solution on Monday October 30th at 2:30 p.m. at the booth.
2° Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) and connected buses
'Internet of Things' is an area that Keolis is investing in to optimize operations and maintenance and improve performance for better customer service. Several projects are now underway like in Rennes (France), where Keolis is testing a solution that indicates free parking spots for people with reduced mobility, or in Bordeaux where Keolis has implemented a solution that monitors the washing of the buses to meet the required cleanliness standards.
Keolis also connects buses and coaches to an IoT platform, getting data from the vehicles and analysing driver behaviour in order to optimize the operations, the maintenance and the energy costs. To achieve this, Keolis has rolled-out a new embedded and connected architecture into the
Vehicles, based on European standards, it makes the integration of ITS easier and decreases the operation costs.
IoT and connected buses will be presented by Rémy Couanon, Keolis Head of ITS department on Tuesday October 31st at 2:30 p.m.
3° Navya, Keolis Autonomous Electric Vehicle
In the smart and sustainable cities of the future, mobility will be shared, personalised, connected, and green. Autonomous electric vehicles can be used to supplement traditional transport modes and solve the issue of the first and last mile connection. As a world leader in multimodal public transport solutions, Keolis invested in the start-up NAVYA in 2016 to enlarge its mobility offer and include the Autonomous Electric Shuttle in its portfolio. Today, more than a dozen trials have been conducted, or are currently underway: France (Lyon, Paris and its area), UK, Las Vegas (U.S.), Denmark, Australia.

A shuttle will be demonstrated from Monday, October 30th to Thursday, November 2nd and will be available to both public and ITS delegates. To ride the shuttle, meet Keolis at the shuttle starting point at the Esplanade of the Palais des Congrès de Montreal.
4° Navitia, open transport solution
Navitia, an open source software developed by Kisio Digital, Keolis' digital subsidiary, is an open transport Application Programming Interface (API) based on 380 transportation open data sets from all around the world. Navitia is supported by a community of more than 9,000 developers coming from start-ups, industrials and researchers all around the world. By opening the software to different actors, more data and pertinent information such as web services (next departure, geolocalisation / around me, schedules, realtime information/disruptions, multimodal and door-to-door journey planning or isochrons) are accessible. Through Navitia, the transport network is not only smarter but is better integrated into a whole eco-system benefiting PTAs and passenger alike.

5° A new visual identity
Keolis has changed its visual identity to reaffirm its position as an expert in multimodality.
