Katherine Hay named new President and CEO of Kids Help Phone
TORONTO, Oct. 20, 2017 /CNW/ - Kids Help Phone is pleased to announce the appointment of Katherine Hay as President and CEO. Ms. Hay will assume this leadership position on October 23, 2017.
Ms. Hay brings over 18 years of experience in senior leadership roles in the charitable sector. Most recently, as President and CEO of Women's College Hospital Foundation, Ms. Hay led the organization through three years of record-breaking success and reinvigorated a 10-year, $70-million capital build campaign. Ms. Hay brings over 18 years of experience in senior leadership roles in the charitable sector. Under her direction, the Foundation's donor community grew significantly, and achieved new fundraising records each year.
Ms. Hay's success is a testament to her vision and fervent belief in the power of community. She believes that every success is the result of teamwork. "One of my favourite quotes is, if you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together," she says. "I believe that as a team and as a community, Kids Help Phone can create an extraordinary impact on young people, families and communities across Canada."

Ms. Hay was recently named one of the Women of Influence Top 25. Her deep commitment to community shines through in her volunteer work on multiple charitable organization's boards of directors, including: Imagine Canada; the National Council of Foundation Executives for the Conference Board of Canada; and the Toronto Academic Health Science Network's Foundation CEO Roundtable. She is also an esteemed member of the Mayor's Task Force on Poverty and Homelessness in Mississauga.
