MONTREAL, March 3, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Canadian designer Karen Sealy, a popular TV host and multiple award-winning designer, has agreed to serve as official spokesperson for the 2015 Canadian Furniture Show. Visitors will also be able to attend a special talk given by Karen on Consumer Day, Sunday, June 7, at 10:30 a.m.
Owner and lead designer of Sealy Design Inc., Karen Sealy loves to share her passion for design and her enthusiasm is contagious. Karen's elegant yet approachable down-to-earth sensibility helps her create functional and fabulous spaces. Growing up with a father in the trades gave her first-hand experience of the more technical aspects of construction and renovation. Karen continued her learning by attending post-secondary schools for a formal education in psychology, business and interior design.

I've attended this show for years, and it's a fantastic opportunity to see so many great furniture pieces from Canada and abroad, all under one roof. Karen Sealy is also a regular design expert on the national TV show Cityline, and host and designer of "Summer Home" (season 1) on HGTV. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, Elle Décor, Style at Home and major Canadian newspapers. Sealy Design Inc. won the Best of Houzz Awards for 2013, 2014 and 2015 in the Design and Customer Satisfaction categories.
The Canadian Furniture Show has been held since 1972 and is produced by the Quebec Furniture Manufacturers' Association. The only national furniture show in the country and the 7th largest trade show in Canada, it brings together industry professionals, manufacturers, retailers, designers, and others, from Canada, the United States, and all over the world, to display their latest collections and trends. The 2015 Show will be held from June 4 to June 7, at The International Centre, in Mississauga, Ontario, and will feature more than 200 exhibitors, including 50 Canadian furniture manufacturers, and welcome some 7,000 trade visitors.
