JBF Helps Families Save Money

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Oct. 29, 2013 /CNW/ - Just Between Friends Franchise Systems, Inc. (JBF), the leading children's and maternity consignment event in the United States, is pleased to announce it's launching the first Canadian consignment event this November in Vancouver, with plans to expand nationwide.

Just Between Friends helps families make money by signing up as a consignor and selling new and gently used children's and maternity items their families have outgrown or never used. At the same time, families shop and save between 50 and 90 percent off retail. Families can find anything and everything they need to raise a child: clothing, toys, books, DVDs, games, baby equipment, furniture, and much more.

Vancouver mom Yendi Pang was involved in the JBF event in Seattle as a consignor and shopper. After she saw firsthand how JBF helps families save money, she wanted to bring it to her hometown of Vancouver and is thrilled to organize the first JBF event in Canada.

"I am so excited to be able to offer these incredible savings to the families of Vancouver," Yendi Pang, JBF organizer, explained. "This concept is so innovative and now more than ever families are searching for ways to save some money and help the environment. At JBF, consignors tag and price their own items using an easy online system. They choose what items they sell and how to price them and then receive 60 to 70 percent of their sales within two weeks of the event. The first ever Canadian event is set for November 15-17^th at The Hellenic Community Centre in Vancouver.

Each Just Between Friends event also supports a local charity. The JBF event in Vancouver will be donating its unsold items to BabyGoRound.
