Jonas & The Massive Attraction set to release new acoustic album "Unplugged" on Tuesday, February 14, 2012

BAND TO JOIN DEEP PURPLE ON WESTERN TOUR

TORONTO, Jan. 30, 2012 /CNW/ - Jonas & The Massive Attraction are thrilled to announce the release of Unplugged, a special acoustic album that was inspired by a magical concert at L'Astral in Montreal in September 2011, and an overwhelming demand by fans.  Unplugged will be released on Tuesday, February 14^th, 2012 through Big Slice Records/Select Distribution.

Unplugged showcases a mixture of live and studio songs from Jonas & The Massive Attraction's latest CD Big Slice, including their Top 10 hit single, "Big Slice," and Top 20 hit "Seize The Day," alongside fan favourites such as "Daddy" and "Edge of Seventeen" - both from the Gold-certified CD Jonas, which earned a Juno Award nomination for "New Artist of the Year" and "Rock Album of the Year."

Jonas & The Massive Attraction will support legendary British rockers Deep Purple on the Western leg of their upcoming Canadian tour, February 15-21, 2012. The band will then jet off straight to Europe from the Deep Purple dates to kick off their "Big Slice European Tour" in Copenhagen, Denmark on February 25^th, 2012. They will also perform throughout Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Benelux in support of the debut release of Big Slice in Europe on February 10, 2012 through Big Slice Records/H'ART Musik.  The tour will be highlighted by a special performance in Bonn, Germany on March 21^st with The Soundtrack of Our Lives, which will be taped for broadcast on the renowned German television show Rockpalast, who has recorded such international stars as, Coldplay, The Killers, Kings of Leon and Metallica.
