Jeffrey Nadler Joins Davies in New York

TORONTO, Dec. 8 /CNW/ - Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP, one of Canada's leading business law firms, announced today that Jeffrey Nadler is rejoining the firm's partnership in the mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance & securities, private equity, corporate/commercial and cross-border & international transactions practices.

Mr. Nadler, who joins Davies' New York office, brings with him a wealth of senior-level experience representing U.S. and international private and public companies and private equity funds in complex corporate and commercial transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, investments, joint ventures and financings. Mr. Nadler started his career with Davies in Toronto in 1993 and was admitted as a partner of the firm in 1997.  He later spent 10 years in the corporate group of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in New York where he became a partner in 2002.  Mr. Nadler has spent the last two years living and working in Tel Aviv, where he has been a partner at a leading Israeli law firm.

Mr. Nadler has a B.A. in Economics and Management from the University of Toronto and an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University.  Mr. Nadler is qualified to practice law in New York, Ontario and Israel.
