TORONTO, Feb. 6, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Funny, fearless comedy is returning to HBO Canada, a multiplex channel of Astral's The Movie Network (Eastern Canada) and Corus Entertainment's Movie Central (Western Canada) this February, with Season 2 of Funny as Hell, a no-holds-barred original stand-up comedy series from The Movie Network and Movie Central, and produced by Just For Laughs Television. The eight-part, half-hour, Gemini-award winning series was taped in front of a live audience at the 2011 Montreal Just For Laughs Festival and features bold, uncensored comedy from some of today's fastest rising stars. Funny as Hell Season 2 premieres Friday, February 24 at 9 p.m. ET/MT on HBO Canada.
Hosted by homegrown comic Jon Dore, Funny as Hell brings audiences more of the edgy, politically-incorrect comedy, music and digital shorts that made them howl in Season 1.
