MONTREAL, Dec. 7 /CNW Telbec/ - Valérie Sagant, Director General of the International Centre for the Prevention of Crime (ICPC) is pleased to invite the media to the launch of a new international structure for crime prevention. The event will take place Tuesday December 8th 2009 at 10:30 am at the Foyer Cartier of the Centre Mont-Royal, 2200 Mansfield street, in Montreal, as part of a series of events marking the 15th anniversary of ICPC.
Speakers at the press conference include Valérie Sagant, Director General of ICPC, Yvan Delorme, Director of the Montreal Police Service (SPVM), and Elkin Velasquez, a United Nations Representative. Other official representatives of the City of Montreal, the city of Port-au-Prince, the World Bank, and of governments of El Salvador, Brazil, France, Canada and South Africa will also be in attendance.
Ms. Sagant, Mr Delorme, and Mr Velasquez will be available for individual interviews with the media after the announcement.
