The Government of Canada is taking action by supporting businesses as they diversify their markets in order to reduce risk, strengthen their economic resilience and consolidate their competitiveness to help them face tariff pressures.
It is in this context that Carlos Leitão, Member of Parliament for Marc-Aurèle-Fortin and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for CED, and Tim Watchorn, Member of Parliament for Les Pays-d'en-Haut, will announce CED funding for a business in the aluminum industry under the Regional Tariff Response Initiative (RTRI).
