The Montreal Millennium Summit was created in 2006 by Daniel Germain. Its mission is to initiate change that will address the major challenges of our century, as defined by the United Nations in September 2000: human development, sustainable development, health and social solidarity. This international event brings together leading players in social engagement from Canada and around the world, representing government and civil society, academic, cultural and community groups, and leading humanitarian organizations.
