QUEBEC, Sept. 26, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - The 18th edition of BioContact Quebec, the international symposium on bio-pharmaceutical partnerships, will take place on October 3rd and 4th at the Château Laurier in Quebec city, mentioned Martin Godbout, president and founder of the event.
Representatives from more than 75 pharmaceutical companies from Canada, the United States and Europe will be participating. This year, the event will bring together some 500 participants from different disciplines such as cancer, cardiology, endocrinology, genomics and proteomics, neurobiology, immunology, infectology, medical technologies, etc.
This exchange of views on "biopharmaceutical partnership" is a structured approach to targeted meetings between biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical companies, universities, consulting firms, venture capital companies and government representatives.
Two renowned lecturers will be attending: Mr. Reid Leonard, executive director at Merck Venture Capital, and Mr. Bob Klein, eminent philanthropist from California, recognized for his involvement in stem cell research.
