Invesco Canada broadens low-cost investment offering

Six new Platform Traded Funds™; Invesco Private Wealth expanded

TORONTO, Oct. 30, 2015 /CNW/ - In response to investor appetite for low-cost, active asset management, Invesco Canada ("Invesco") will launch six additional offerings through its innovative Platform Traded Fund (PTF^TM) structure and make other changes to its investment suite.

New additions to the PTF suite include:

With these additions, Invesco will offer 28 investment mandates through the PTF structure.

First announced on October 1, 2015, PTFs employ an entirely new process for delivering Invesco's money management expertise and are exclusively designed for fee-based investors who work with either discretionary or non-discretionary advisors.

PTFs are unique in that they transact and settle just like listed securities or exchange-traded funds (ETFs), using a streamlined process that eliminates unnecessary layers of cost. Investors benefit by having access to active management at a price comparable to that paid by institutional investors.

Invesco Private Wealth
The company also announced the addition of Trimark Canadian Opportunity Class to the Invesco Private Wealth program, through the launch of Series P and PF.

Series P is a dedicated series for advised households with a minimum of $100,000 in aggregate assets invested in Invesco Canada funds. The benefits of Series P include reduced fees, potential for reduced expenses and its availability across a broad range of Invesco Canada products. Investors may also qualify for additional management-fee reductions or rebates for higher investment amounts.

New T-FLEX series options
In addition, Invesco's T-FLEX series for fee-based accounts will be expanded to provide investors with more options to receive a regular monthly income stream. New additions to T-FLEX series include Invesco Intactive Diversified Income Portfolio Class and Invesco Intactive Balanced Income Portfolio Class, with the launch of Series F4, F6, PF4 and PF6 for each.

Fund name change
Additionally, PowerShares Diversified Yield Fund will be renamed PowerShares Monthly Income Fund, reflecting the monthly income distribution frequency across all series. The investment objectives and strategies of the Fund will not change.

All of the above changes are effective November 26, 2015.
