Interim Place hosts its first Steps to End Violence Against Women Walk in honour of the 18 women that have lost their lives to violence in Peel in the last 5 years

TORONTO, July 26, 2012 /CNW/ - Sunday July 29th, 2012 in Mississauga, Interim Place hosts their 1st Annual "Steps to End Violence Against Women Walk", to honour the many women they have served over the past 31 years and remember the 18 women who have lost their lives to violence in Peel in the last 5 years through a vigil. The 3km walk will raise awareness about the issue of Violence Against Women and funds to continue to provide emergency shelter and support services to women and children fleeing violence.
