Integrated Pipeline Projects Canada Ltd. becomes UniversalPegasus International
CALGARY, June 17, 2013 /CNW/ - Integrated Pipeline Projects Canada Ltd. (IPP), headquartered in Calgary, AB announced today they will be changing their brand to UniversalPegasus International (UPI).
UPI, headquartered in Houston, Texas, acquired IPP four years ago and during those years, they have integrated corporate systems, worked to build a strong and cohesive team and develop even stronger client relationships.
"The majority of our clients cross the border or work in a number of different geographies. They want to connect with a single contractor that has common tools, processes and people. Putting the two operations under one banner makes sense to better serve our clients," says Philip Luna, CEO of UPI.
The companies were deliberate in staging the transition over time to identify and resolve potential integration issues. Throughout the well-planned transition, the company has continued to emphasize safety and quality; they have listened to their people and clients to ultimately strengthen the company. Leadership in Calgary remains the same with additions to assist with growth.
"We look forward to servicing the Canadian market as well as other parts of the world with a consistent delivery across a broad spectrum under the UPI brand," continues Luna. "We believe it will benefit out clients, partners, vendors and our people."
UPI is a leader in project management, engineering, design and construction management for the energy industry. Built on a 50-year heritage of providing quality, safety, innovation and client service, UniversalPegasus delivers unmatched expertise and value to oil and gas clients around the globe.
