"Managed services has replaced the traditional on-site support paradigm with the much more efficient and cost effective one-to-many support model," said Intega IT COO, Brenda Robinson. "In September 2013, we rebranded the company and brought on an experienced leadership team to execute on a new aggressive growth strategy. Since that time we have moved 85% of our customers who used adhoc IT service support over to an automated full service model; increased our customer base and doubled our revenues. We now want to expand our managed services offering and we're putting together a comprehensive list of potential M&A targets who reside in the Ottawa area whom we believe could help Intega IT achieve its growth and service goals this year."
Currently, the company is targeting IT service providers focused on particular software applications or business processing solutions, such as SharePoint consulting services, point of sale solutions or security expertise. The company is currently in discussions with three companies but is aggressively reviewing additional opportunities.
