The mobile and web application developer's 5-year revenue grew 405%, earning the company a spot in the 25th edition of PROFIT Magazine's annual ranking.
MONTREAL, June 7, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - With a growth of 405% in the last five years, INNOBEC, a custom software and information management systems developer specialized in mobile and web applications, has earned its second consecutive inclusion in the annual PROFIT 500 ranking of Canada's Fastest-Growing Companies by PROFIT Magazine. Published in the summer issue of PROFIT Magazine and online at PROFITguide.com, the PROFIT 500 list ranks Canadian businesses by their revenue growth over five years.
"We are thrilled to see the company's name on the PROFIT 500 list for a 2nd consecutive year," says Stephane Rouleau, INNOBEC's CEO, adding that the company recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. "The mobile application development market has evolved significantly in this period, and Innobec's growth is a direct result of our team's commitment. This is a collective success and we are very proud of everyone's contribution to Innobec's growth."
A new level of mobile application development
INNOBEC was recently selected by Acosta Sales & Marketing for the redesign and deployment of its large-scale "Strategy Lite" mobile application across North America, which is used daily by Acosta's team of 15,000 retail representatives. The migration from Windows Mobile to a new solution, which is iOS and Android compatible, is currently being developed by the Montreal mobile application developer using its Lithium platform. "Basically, we are redoing in 2 years what previously took 10 years to develop," says Rouleau.
Innobec vice-president Yves Forget adds that "applying Agile software development has made it possible to develop very productive working relationships with our clients. We focus on delivering value. We develop with our clients, asking for and encouraging constant involvement and feedback, which allows our teams to work faster, deliver better quality, and eliminate wasted effort. We have successfully applied Agile methodology to Android, iOS, BlackBerry, Microsoft .Net, JAVA and Cloud-based projects."
