Robotic aircraft play an integral role in providing solutions for the agriculture industry. ING's Responder has the ability to perform remote sensing while carrying a multispectral camera that allows landowners to view the vegetation of their plants and crops from an aerial perspective.
In addition to the multispectral camera, the flexibility of the Responder allows for it to be fitted with multiple sensors (up to 5kg) to serve different applications. Not only does the use of these aircraft reduce footprint and risk to human life, it also reduces the costs associated with the monitoring of vast areas of land. ING Robotic Aviation is working to get the right information, into the right hands, in a timely manner for the agriculture industry.
